I was wondering if any one had any advice on picking a g-code generator for SolidWorks and Mach3? I currently have a 4X8 table router and have Lazy Cam loaded on it. I would like to do some 3D carving out of wood and eventually will put on a 4th rotating axis to carve out solid 3D shapes. Can anyone suggest software that would be good for this 3D application. Thanks, WM. |

| BobCAM. It came out recently, and is on sale for a low price. Great features, fully integrated in to SolidWorks. It is better than BobCAD. I am sure I will get bashed for suggesting it, but I find their products a great value. I would suggest not giving them your real phone number, as they call incessantly, but the software is worth putting up with that. |
