Well I finally have all the pieces assembled, but I can't get mach2 to reset the Estop. after much fiddling, I'm wondering if it couldn't be the printer cable? Using a tester, Pin 1 on one end doesn't map to Pin1 on the other end (tiny little numbers next to the pins). Do I need some sort of special printer cable? And why would this not map directly pin-to-pin? I'm using bob campbell's breakout board. he supplied me with a ribbon cable with a parallel port connector (female) on one end, and a special socket of some kind that connects onto his board. I wired my printer cable inbetween. -anthony |

| Yeah, sounds liek the cable. I don't know all the ins and outs of the cables, but go for a "straight through" cable and it should work fine.
