I didn't want to continue to hijack the pendant thread, so I though I would start a new one for this. I uninstalled my older mach2 version, and installed a newer version. Got everything working except for spindle control. I have tried everything I can think of. Can anyone share how they got their spindle on/off working in the newer versions of mach2? (I have read the manual and no luck at all) I had this working before, man, I miss working in a shop where there was a guy you called when the computer wasn't working right! co |

| Did you go to Configure>Ports and Pins and setup the relay activation signals under Output Signals (Use output 1,2, or 3, and have no more than 3 checked), AND setup the pins under output pins? Then, go to COnfigure>Output Devices, and make sure you uncheck the not used box, and set the spindle to the output you picked previously. That should do it.

| Are you using 6.11M? You might even want to try Mach3. I've heard it's very stable, and has a lot more features.

| All set-up is correct. Spindle toggles on and off on screen, pin address is right, output 1 = CW spindle, Output 1 checked. I am stumped. And now my joystick doesn't work anymore! Sheesh colin p.s. Just checked that the spindle does indeed work when plugged into an outlet directly. |
