Hidden Backlash!

I am trying to set-up a Master5 program to run some parts, there appears to be a .004 backlash programed in! I am running BallScrews and this is not good. I can't fine where to set the backlash to ".000", the help instructions suggest that it be set to .000, but where is this accomplished?

It's an old computer and I am and old machinist. Computer + ectronics is not my hobby and this kind of stuff is very difficult for me, I just want to make some parts.

I know the word "Electronics is miss-spelled, I don't know how to go back in there and add the E, everytime I add something, something else dissapears.

Look for a setting called backlash compensation. I don't know where it's at, though.

Are you sure your ballscrews don't have any backlash?

I can not find anything that says anything about "Backlash" except in the help.

Its possable that I am loseing .003 in the leadscrew in this area of the travel. The leadscrew is one of those economy versions from "McMaster Carr". I would still like to find where "Backlash" adjustment is found though.
