Question B axis moving too slow after tuning

Hi

I was trying to tune test my motors last night and I have started with my B axis. When I run the axis calibration (axis steps per unit ) in settings page; I told mach to turn 90 degree and it did turn 90 degree, it was perfect and the motor turns as fast as I wanted. Mach asked to set the step per for the B axis to 5.5 and I accepted and saved the settings. When I run my test g codes for b axis only, the just tuned motor do not move 90 degree as I set, it kept rotating a lot , not turning a ¼ turn, As in the tuning. the motor was too slow and some times not even moving, just making a sound. That was on the test g code. When I run all motors all of them run grate except B Axis moving slowly and keep rotating. When I increased the acceleration and velocity for B only. All other motors were become slow too and not moving just making noise. The feed rate in mach was set to 200ipm my units is in mm, sherline half pulse checked, Kerrnel speed 250000hz, using G201 drives
When I set my b axis steps per back to 2000 the motor was moving fast and nice like before. Any idea what I’m doing wrong?

Thanks
mo

hi
i have solved the motor positioning problem by retuning the motors several times, but once i run the XYCB axis together the tune get bad the cb axis move too slow ticking 1 step movement every 2 sec and the y moves and vibrate like a hammer drill. Could this be a power supply problem? im running the five motors together in one power supply. i also didn’t instal the 470uf capacitors on the geckos, ill try tonight and see what happens. My motors are
2 x 960oz 3.5A 4.3v
3 x 1290oz 4A 4.2V
Power supply: 1000va > 58V 23A filtered output , im using 2 X uf 18000

i have done some changes and run the z and c, b axis together and they were working great. could this be the power? Can some one tell me how do I test the motor to know if they are getting enough juice?

thanks
mo
