    Question Amada laser acrylic

    I have Amada Pulsar LC2415 3k i need urgent help in cutting acrylic/Lexan , every time the head touches the material "Alarm massage over travel Z axis" what should I do, I used cutting condition with clean air cut, used different value for Nozzle gap still same problem, thankx

    you have to set the nozzel gap by hand then turn off the trace.you must be very very careful when the trace is off bad things can happen fast.

    also you can set the tickenes material in the cuting conditdion, it is safe the set only the nozzel gap, to be more safe you change the parameter (in cut condition) "Z start folow" to a big value, when the cuting head get the position (thik material + nozzel gap+ Z start folow) the z axis will decelerate. dont forget to turn of the Z sensor at control panel.
    never use oxigem to cut acrilic or other organic material, very easy to "burn" your machine!
    be careful with the toxic gas! have a goo look!
