Using Mach, can set the feed rate to what I want

I have downloaded the Mach 3 demo and can't get the actual feed rate to what I want. The set feed rate is much higher than the actual feed rate.

Is this limited becasue it is a demo?

    Cheers

Do you mean the machine can't go as fast as you want, or the displayed feed rate is too slow.
If the latter, just add the feedrate to your g-code, ex: F50
Put it in the first line before motion starts.
    The demo has no limitations.

Unless you're talking about motor tuning. If that's the problem, the demo is limited to 25000 steps per second.
