My shop owns an Amada LC-3015F1NT brand laser and because we are a tool and die shop we are trying to cut 4140 steel. Right now I am using a stainless steel cut condition and the cut looks great but the pierce is warped and the dross is caked on. This is after beating the part out after it is finished. Has anyone tried to cut this type of steel with any success? Nathan |
