Cool Mach Step And Dir Pulse Width

    Hi all,

I use a unipolar L297 and IRF640 based stepper controler, when I choose 5us pulse on mach3 everytime when I get back to the motor tunning screen it doesnt save it as 5us, It goes to 4us. And I configure each axis and save each one at a time, like if you are setting up the motor speeds and so...

Does anyone knows why thats happening? This drivers I have they say to work with 5us, at least for TurboCNC.

Will it change much if I use 4us? Whats the difference? What does the pulse size affects on your machine or drivers?

    Brenck,

Did you download and install the latest version of Mach3?

Will I have to buy it again if I install this?

Does Pulse Width Affects on speed or something?

If you own it the upgrades are free for life.

Make sure you archive a copy of your Mach1Lic.dat file.

Install the new version and copy the Mach1Lic.dat file into the C:\Mach3 directory.
