I just swithed my computer over from a smaller machine w/ a single motor on the Y axis to another machine that has two motors 1 plus a slave drive. After upgrading the lead screws on the machine (which was made w/ extremely undersized lead screws) I went to run a test program w/a 2" circle. The machine is trying to make a circle that is 10" in diameter. Mach 3 is showing the correct g code but the machine seemes to be interpreting things to be much larger than they are supposed to be. Could it be the settings whiich I got right off of the Sidewinder website?? If anyone has experienced this I would greatly appreciate your input. Thanks in advance S |

| Simple, you need to turn your motors to match the steps per inch. Sounds like a starting point is to divide the current setting by 5 (10 vs 2 = 5x too much). Use and indicator to test your values before trying to cut anything. |

Thanks Jay C I had someone helping me and I was reading numbers off of my laptop as she was inputing in Mach 3. I noticed she had the x and y set at 8000 ipm instead of 3200. Wow. It seams to be working as well as it can. Thanks again |
