Selected Axis, Step Size LED indicators

Hello CNCZone, it's been a while-
I have resurrected my Mach3 Mill project this winter and am in the process of creating my own control panel. I am using an ipac emulator, joystick, arcade buttons, smaller buttons, MPG, etc.
Question: What I would like to do is include some status LED's on the panel to indicate the currently selected MPG axis. I believe I will need to create a macro that will poll the LED states and set the state on select parallel port/pins. I am familiar with VBScript & button macros, so it should be straight forward. What I am missing is where to find/create a macro that runs continuously while Mach3 is running. All of the ones I have seen seem to run in response to an event, like a button click.
I don't really "need" this, I just thought it would be a nice touch.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!
