    How do you backup your config.

    Just got done setting everything up on my mill in mach3,just wondering how I save those settings that I have set for the motors and steps per inch? Any advise will be appreciated.Thanks Mike

    Just save a copy of the file Mach3Mill.xml

    Can you elaborate on how to create that file and use it if you needed to reinstall Mach to recreate all your settings?

    I just have a bunch of jpegs of screen shots of the different setting windows so I can manually reset everything if ever needed.

    Copy it from your Mach3 folder and either burn it on a CD, or put it somewhere else. When you reinstall Mach3, just copy it back into the Mach3 folder. No need to create it, it's already there. It's the file that all your settings are stored in.
