    Cool Choosing between Mach3, Mach2, or Mach1?

    Hi guys,
I am a newbie in Mach program and would like to get comments from experience user how much different between Mach3, 2, or 1.
I suppose, no one use MACH1 anymore.
So comes down to Mach 2 which I have seen a lot of users use them in the forum. Mach 3 is more advanced (not knowing much details)..but the price is the same as Mach 2.
So if I am looking to purchase Mach program, would you recommend buy MACH 3 and goes from there? Or is there advantage if anything at all in choosing MACH2.

Additionally, I have seen ad on MACH4, is there something coming out soon?
Thanks for your knowledge, and very much appreciate your thoughts.
    Jeff

I would have thought there is no reason not to go with Mach3 as a new user.

The only reason I think that people stay with Mach2 is that they have been using it for
a long time and are comfortable with the look an feel of it and don't want to update.

Go with Mach3 and learn the current layout and features. Then it will be all the easier to keep up with developments as they occur.

Don't worry about Mach4 as that was to use with the Grex and now they have decided to do that with a plugin in Mach3 instead of having a separate version.

Hope this helps. Go to Mach's own support forum and have a read or ask questions.

The only reason, Imo, to use Mach2 is if you have a slow PC that won't run Mach3. That's the only reason. Development stopped on it about 2 years ago, and any bugs that may exist in it won't be fixed.

Mach3 has many, many more features and is supposedly far more stable than Mach2 ever was.

Yeah what Cruiser says is correct. Don't worry about the version just buy it.

The more people buy a license the more secure it is to continue development.
So as a user I have a vested interest He He He
