Does anybody have experience setting the Taig Tools CNC controller up for use with Master 5? The Master 5 pinout assigns pins 2 and 3 of the DB25 parallel port to be step and direction. The Taig controller (MPS PRO) uses pins 2,3,4, and 5 to control what it calls X1, X2, X3, and X4. The Master 5 program will only allow me two pins for control output. The Taig controller expects 4... Is there a way to do this? Thanks very much. |

| My controller required step + and - along with Dir + and -, I simply used the common from parallel port for the - on both, works fine. I was thinking I would need diode across the - from the controller, but no problems or smoke yet. Hague |
