| I'd consider all those videos mandatory for anyone using Mach3.

| I agree Gerry; however, there doesn't seem to be one for "Motor Tuning" I have a 5 TPI ball screw for each axis, and 200 step/rev motors. In "motor tuning", I have set: Steps Per to 1000, Velocity to 250, Acceleration to 75 Step pulse to 4 Dir pulse to 4 I'm not sure if it is optimal or accurate! Eric |

| If you're microstepping, multiply the amount times the 1000 steps. For example, 1/8 stepping would be 8000 steps/unit. 1/10 steps (Typical Geckos) would be 10,000. Velcocity and Accel need to be determined through trial and error. Find out the fastest they work reliably and then back off about 20%.

| Is there a video for the Mach 2 version. I have been using Mach 2 flawlessly for two years now and due to a complete computer crash and the resulting new computer, I've downloaded the current offering of Mach 2 which is a newer version that I previousy had. I'm having trouble establishing my machine home now and need some help. Any ideas? Thank Dennis |
