Alibre CAD/CAM and MACH3

I have a Small CNC mill running Mach 3. I just went though and calibrated the drives. Using Alibre CAD/CAM to make the tool paths.

When I set my material in the Vise and move the cutter to the Corner which I set the MOPs to, I'll hit start cycle and viola the mill speeds off to never never land. This is a small part and not very complex.

I've added the CAM code from Alibre. Hoping to find out why my Set Zero isn't a Set Zero.

Are you zeroing the X and Y axis before hitting Cycle Start?

Yes, Sir. In the Offsets tab of Mach3. I click the X, Y and Z offsets and than go to the main screen to start the cycle.

Here it is. I am just doing two small holes, 2" apart, than clearing an area followed by a profile of the part.

Thanks,

Smitty

I'm assuming it's moving a lot farther than this?
X0.7761 Y2.2639

Before you click Cycle Start, do the X and Y DRO's both show 0.000?

I'm currently watching the Mach 3 Videos again to see if I missed something.

Yes, Sir. I always zero the from the Home position before starting. I than go to a corner of the part and in the Offset page, click the X,Y and Z. For some reason after doing this, it's now wants to run off past the working area of my machine. FYI - Harbor Frieght, X-2

I don't know what you're doing here?
You can zero the X and Y from the Program Run page. You don't need to go to the Offset page.

It's also odd, that the DRO reads correctly accordig to Calibrating the steps from the setting menu. I used a dial indicator to make sure 1" was 1".
