    Need help with config

I am reposting most of this from the "Engraving Machine" section as I feel this is probably a Mach 3 configuration issue.

I purchased a little Chinese 3 axis router/engraver and have everything set up nicely except for spindle control. When I first boot up the PC the spindle is off but as soon as I load Mach3 the spindle starts and will not shut off until I reboot the PC.

I have ordered a little 25 pin breakout board so I can hook up the scope and look for signals as maybe I am trying to control the wrong pin

    Anybody have any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Justin B.

Just turning it on and off, I got it figured out. It appears you configure a "motor output" pin instead of the one called out as "spindle".

    Thanks...
