You might have something like an anti-virus program, or disk defrag, or disk indexing that's running after start up. You could look in the Task Manager, processes tab to see what's active both at start up and later on.
Hello, Ive got my homemade Mini tabletop mill going. Its a BluMaxx 2064 board and C10 BOB connected to small 16 oz motors. I seems as if I keep losing my settings, although they dont actually change . By settings Im reffering to Motor Config step rate, pulse etc. If I turn off my machine for the night and its running good, the next day I'll start up with jumpy studdering motors, lost steps and lock up. After maybe ½ an hour of entering my same settings in Motor Config, saving the settings, exiting and re-starting Mach3 again and again it suddenly runs smooth again with no lost steps and axis travel is exactly correct. I have other programs on this computer, can I be over-taxing it? I recall reading that mach3 likes to be installed on its own dedicated tower with nothing else to interfere. Thanks in advance for helping. -Vinny
