Hi I am pretty new to mach 3 and just trying to cut my first parts with it. One thing I cant find on the machine or in the manual is a simple way to search a G code programme and jump to a specific line without scrolling manually, my file has 250K lines in it so I'm not keen on manual scrolling. I'm guessing this is dead simple and I'm just missing how to do it due to searching for the wrong thing and being tired. Any ideas ? Thanks Paul |

| If you know the line number, just type it in and click "Set Next Line". If you need to search for specific text, there is no search function.

| Ok, thanks Maybe I'm doing this wrong but it's not unusual for me to need to shut down, usually at the end of an operation ie: time for a tool change and come back to a job later In that case, how do I find the right point when I come back to the job ? is it a matter of finding the right toolchange in notebook or something and then using the line number for the next line in Mach ? Thanks Paul |
