I am having quite a problem getting my Mach3 and CNC4PC spindle speed control card to work properly. Here's the deal.
I have a 2nd parallel port connected to a CNC4PC buffered breakout board. That is hooked to the CNC4PC speed control board.
The first problem is that I get nothing unless I click the Spindle CW button in Mach3. Then the voltage output from the speed control works, but when you reach about 1700 rpm the voltage output from the card starts reacting inversely to the s word command. In other words, the voltage output from the card will vary from 0, at 0 rpm, to about 4.5 at 1700 rpm. At 1800 command the voltage drops to about 3.9. If you take it to 4400 rpm, which is the max, the voltage is back almost to 0 again.
Can anyone offer any help here on either problem??
Many thanks. Any help is MUCH appreciated.
