    Proper use of "Z" inhibit

I am trying to loop3 passes 0.08 deeper each pass for a total depth of 0.24. I coded the final depth in the program run and set the "Z inhibit for 0.08 with the final line being M30.It rewinds but only makes one cut only instead of three. What command will make it cut progressively deeper?

Z inhibit limits the depth to what you set it to. You either need to code all your passes, or, use the multipass wizard to do it for you.

In the mach user info it states the the program should be coded for final depth desired with the final code being M30.There is a picture of using L and the #(EG3) of loops required each cutting@ progressively deeper as specified in the "Z" inhibit setting but I can't find this window-where is it?

The functionality your looking for was in older versions of Mach3, and has been removed, and replaced with the multipass wizard. As I said, Z inhibit limits the depth of cut.

Wizards are new to me.On the multipass wizard do you code for final depth and let the wizard calculate the number of passes or can the depth of cut and # of passes be edited in some fashion?

Never used it, but Step Depth should be depth per pass, and I think Depth is the max depth.
