Mach 3 Spindle Speed Table Feed Calibration/Synchronization

Damn, I hope I spelled that right!
I have a benchtop mill running mach 3 with a Hitachi 200 VFD, 3 phase motor (2hp) and a cnc4pc speed control card. I'm using 0 - 10 volts to the VFD and have a tach circuit installed on the spindle which is being reported to Mach 3.
Is there a way to set up the software to allow mach to monitor the spindle speed and slow down feed if it starts to bog down????? My equipment configuration tends to break a bunch of mill tools due to the motor bogging down during a cut. Very frustrating and expensive.
Thoughts anyone?????

You may be able to use the macropump (which runs a macro 10 times a second, I think) to read the rpmand adjust the FRO when the rpm drops. Not positive, though. But you'll need to write a macro to do it.
