So I've had time to play in the garage and I'm slightly confused with this problem. I can make a simple gcode. (Or complex) i.e. x0,x10,x20,x30,x20,x10,x0 I can repeat this dozen's of times and the machine runs flawless. However, if I enter the same commands via MDI. The machine will randomly loose it's mind. The DRO will move, but there is lag before the machine starts. Now the problem is that mach3 thinks that the machine moved, but it did not. Which means, that axis in question is no longer properly zeroed. I tried this on the x/y axis and given enough commands, I'm able to reproduce it. So I don't believe it to be a motor/encoder problem. Also as stated above program gcode runs fine. Is this a known problem? Or a limitation. It seems very strange to me. X3 Mill, CNC Fusion deluxe ballscrews, cnc4pc c11 breakout board, g320 servos, 250oz servos, 250cpr encoders. Computer is 2.4ghz, 2g of ram. Again, everything works fine via a gcode file. Only in MDI do I appear to have this problem. Any help would be great. I'd like to have some confidence in being able to manually enter commands. Thanks, |
