    Can I use Suqiang SN2000 Serial Servo motor drive with Mach3

    Hello,
    I have Suqiang SN2000 Serial Servo Motor Drives and Servo Motor. I want to know about this drive. Can I use this drive with Mach3 Controller software? This drive link is:

    Please see this page and reply my question. I don't know about motor drive control. I want to know about this drive can be work with step and direction control that generated from Mach3 software. I hope someone help my difficuilty. I also wanted to know the wiring connection if I can use this drive with Mach3. Thank....

    Hi heightechkey

    Yes you can use these drives with Mach control software you would be using Position control which uses Step & Dir comands to move your motors not the best for CNC but will work you also have electronic gearing to help smooth it out a bit

    You can also get a step & dir to analog out put which would be +/- 10v Mach software puts out step & dir signal's

    Thank for your reply. I have another question for this drive. I have no experience with servo motor drive. So I don't know how can I connect between motor drive and computer. The following link is the download page for this SERVO DRIVER-SN2000 manual.

    I wanted to know which pins use for step and direction in this drive. I means I want to know step and direction pin in this drive. Please tell me connection diagram between Parallel port and drive if you are OK. Thank...

    I think you should go to the Mach forum to find that out I think just a opto breakout board will do the job but ask on the Mach site I have not used Mach at this point but my be soon on a project
