    Nub - please help... what controller?

    Hi Guys,
    i've been reading the posts on this forum and the knolage is awsome!
    i took the dive and got me a small lathe... i converted it to a CNC and the Jog is fine.. my problem is this:

    i'm using Solidcam 12 for Cam... i then generate a Gcode for the mach3 and i get error when trying to run the program.. i tried selecting:
    * Fanuc0T
    *Nakamora mt
    *Okumall

    thees are the only options i get, and non are working with Mach3...
    is there a post processor or something? what am i doing wrong?? please help,
    im ready to throw the D**n thing

    Not familar with Solidcam so can't help you there. Most cam programs have postprocessors for Mach3. Does Solidcam have one? Also as you probably already know Mach3Turn has wizzards for most normal turning requirements. If you send me an drawing of the part I'll try to gen some code for you and see if it works.

    post your code so we can look through it. it might be really something simple. my cam program doesn't post an M03 which i like so i have to go in and add that myself. so then i check speeds etc to make sure they are correct. you maybe missing some small tid bit of info.
