I was hoping to find some information on how to enter a tip number into the tool offset menus in Mach turn. I have basic left and right hand turning and threading tools, std profiling tools, grooving, parting, inside boring and threading tools. I have a lathe without limit switches and I was hoping to settup some sort of limit system within the software so the machine wouldn't crash. I tried backing off the X with tool number 1 zeroed and entering that value into the soft limit for X positive, and it didn't work- the machine passed that point when I tested it in manual jog... Thanks for the help guys. |
