During my CNC lathe setting, there is a serious problem needing to be solved urgently. That is I have put in t0202s1200 for second tool speed 1200rpm , I can see spindle indicator change. when I press spindle speed button, spindle starts and toolpost turns. This CNC lathe uses Mach3 control system.
Who could help me. Would be appreciated very much.
What's the problem?
You told it to go to tool 2, offset pair 2, and you told the spindle to hit 1200rpm...(but didn't mention which direction).....
I don't know what Mach3 likes, but I don't like lower case words, and I don't like words strung together without spaces. I also like to know which direction the spindle is to rotate.
Also a good idea to make sure tool changes take place in the home position if you're new at this. Crashes on lathes can be very dangerous, and very expensive.
