Hi Brian

I am keen on one of the D0-06 PLC's. I have been going through my IO requirements, and will definately need the additional imputs and outputs to run my turrets. My hydraulic solenoids use 24V DC and I am shure the turrets use reed switches for position. Could you advise me on the approriate unit I require for this job. Also I will be powering the unit with 240V AC.

Craig

If i were you I would be looking at the D0 - 06DR the specs are as follows:
Power Supply: 100 - 240V AC
Inputs: DC input 12-24VDC
Outputs: Relay Output 2Amp and there are 4 commons so you could have half running 110VAC and the other half could be 24VDC

The price should be about 215.00 USD.

Thanks
Brian

Hi Brian

How can I get in contact with you direct so I can make a purchase?

I had a look at your site and the tutorials there look great, very informative. I am shure I should be able to work out the ladder diagrams with a bit of help from people in my end of the world, and of course my Fanuc Ladder diagrams, eventhough they are written in Jinglish.

Craig,
You can get me at brianb @ newfangledsolutions.com (You are going to have to take out the spaces). We will see what we can do to help you get what you need. I am in hopes to be ordering a few PLC's and a few MPG's this week.. I have been in training for some cam software and it is taking all of my time. I should be done at the end of the week

Thank you and have a great day!
Brian

Port 1 has 12 outputs. Each axis takes two. The other one not used for axis control can be used for other things (relays, LED's, etc) . Port 1 has 5 inputs. You can run a second parallel port and in MACH use pins 2-9 as either inputs or outputs. That gives you 12 more outputs and 5 inputs or conversly 13 inputs and 4 outputs based on the settings.

TH thanks for the reply.
So the total I/O is 34. Which for a input needy lathe would break down to
4 axis s/d outs, 18 ins and 12 outs.

Yep. Look at the MINI-IO-Combo on our website. If you want to buy it ala carte you can do that too.
