    threading

    ok i have built a 7x12 cnc lathe that uses mach 3 turn had no trouble
    threading till i tried to use spindle speed control with with step and
    direction using a c6 board with my c10 breakout board the lathe was all ready using a kbc speed control the oem burned out a long time ago so its not that when i used the manual pot no c6 board rpm only differed
    say 1 or 2 rpms but now say i command m3 s1200 20 to 15 rpms i no
    this is the problem i am using the last lock down ver of mach3 with a 1 ghz computer do i need faster computer for speed control (what speed do i need) or does step and direction not work good enough for this or? sorry for my lack of good spelling

    Load an earlier version of Mach3 and see if you still have the problem. Had similar problem when I loaded latest version. After much hair pulling, asking for help, etc. reloaded Ver32 and all works well. Seems like when changes were made for the faster computers, it created some bugs for the slower ones. I'm using a 1.6 Ghz.
