I have been trying to find the best combo for running my CNC lathe conversion (Cummins 7 x 12 using Hobby CNC drvier board). I have found that getting continuity in software is proving difficult. Designing parts is no probelm but I can't seem to find a CAM program that will output to Mach3 Turn nicely. I have tried MasterCAM and SolidCAM, both of which do not have a nice post processor for the Lathe program.

So I am also looking for feedback on a CAD/CAM solution for simple 2 axis lathe programming.

I like Dolphin's PartMaster. Does a good job for me once I got over the initial learning curve.
