The newfangled wizards won't post code without a license. Are those the ones you're having trouble with?
I have a Bridgeport that is running on Mach3 on win xp.
I am having problems with the wizards.
Any wizard i try will not post a g-code or return to the program run page.
I fill in all the settings pushing enter to make each change.
When I want to post the g code the sreen locks up.
If I push exit it will exit but after quite a bit of time.
I can get the circle cut wizard to work once each time i start Mach3 if I don,t reset Mach 3 but go to the circle cut wizard, fill in settings, post g-code then exit the program is there and will run after I reset Mach3.
If I try anything else it just locks up.
this is the trial version of v2.63.

It would be any wizad on the pick wizard page.
Not the newfangled wizards.
THANKS
the wizards work fine here.
check whats happening on your computer, make sure the drivers working right, theres a test file for it in the mach3 folder.
also make sure nothing else is running at the time on your computer, esp background tasks. theres a program i think that tells you how to setup the computer. you can run other stuff, just not while mach3 is working. also check how much memory you have.
it runs fine on my 1.6 emachine with 1 gig memory. i also , when i am not running mach3 , will run turbocad to design , then lazycam to change to gcode.

Not true, the wizards work fine in the trial version. And the trial is good for up to 500 lines of code.

Thanks for the replys,I found the problem was myself.
I have ran cnc,s for 25 years and I am not use to a depth of cut still being a z+.All that i have ran had a z- value for a depth of cut in reference to z0 being the top of the work peice.
If leaving stock z would be a positive number but to take away stock from z0 would be a z- value.
This was giving me a problem until I seen how the wizards were setup.
All working fine now.
This sure beats the BOSS system hands down.
I am sure Bridgeports system was something in its time but software has came so far.
The shop I work at now is building a brand new machine shop and just had 5 new G&L's delivered with FANUC controls, can,t wait to get one of them running!
Most of the wizards were written by users, so may not be consistent in their conventions.

In all the wizards I've used I've used z-zero as the surface of stock and any cut being a z-0.001 or deeper for example. I can't picture any case that would prevent you from going z minus. ???

What was getting me confused was the cut circle wizard .
It lets you go z- for depth but all step depths are a positive z value.
Makes sense now but took a couple trys to see it.
Tricks to get it to work:
0. Reset has to be clear.
1. have to hit ENTER after changing a number
2. Have to PICK a font else there is NO DEFAULT. Bunch available.
3. Z down is positive ....sort of, is called Positive DEPTH.
4. symbol button changes the keys that have multiple selections.
5. Need more than 50% separation between letters. I use 150%
6. WRITE posts the code in MACH3, then EDIT GCODE and save in notepad!
7. must use screen keyboard, not physical keyboard.
8. Make sure SAVE ON EXIT is lite.
9. Have to keep zeroing the X and Y #'s
10. Takes a while to post to main MACH3 screen. WAIT.
11. LAST WIZARD is a handy button to re-edit
12. Uses a lot of lines of code, so with 500 line limit, is ONE line per file.
BUT....WORKS GOOD.
