A good idea would be to put some neodymium magnets on the back panel, along with some rubber pads. Then you can easily stick it to a metal panel near the machine.

And I like how the center screen is a touch screen! Neat idea. Could you have is so that you touch a DRO and it selects that axis and zeros it? Then you can use the hardware buttons for another function. Just thinking out loud.

It was my intention don't use the sensor buttons on the pendant due to the safety since the control over a machine must be reliable which is not quite possible with the sensor buttons. Moreover, since the work with a machine could make the hands not clean, it also was a concern about reliability of the sensor buttons.

Hey Andrey, nice improvements, looks like you have been very busy.

I have the older version with display). It is great. Are there any software updates? Is there a way to tell what the software version is without opening the unit?

Did you ever rewrite the code to make the shift function a non latching shift for the older version? If I recall correctly, you would have to change an IC to do this.

I do not build ShuttleRU_LCD and do not do updates for this. But there are new versions of plugins from Sanders.
