Default Is there an axis in-position window setting?

One of our guys is finishing up a project with a Mach3. He cannot find where to set what I am used to calling "IN POSITION WINDOW." That tells the mach3 when to go onto the next move command. Right now it must be set to 0 as it takes 3-4 seconds while we watch the following error reduce down to 0 before the next move happens. We want to set that to say 30 counts so it is responsive.

Can anyone tell me where that setting is?

    Thanks.

    I don't think that's an option in Mach3.

    THANKS!

I just had him increase Ki gain until it snapped in fast enough; causes a tad of overshoot but for this pick and place machine 2% overshoot should be ok.

Thanks again for the quick reply!

You might try bumping up the Kp, and reduce the Kd a bit. Then reduce the Ki, that should eliminate the overshoot, I like Ki set at 0 where possible. I normally bump up the Kp until the system becomes unstable then back it down about 15% to get maximum performance.
