My motors seem to slip when using the keyboard to jog the axis so im thinking this is the velocity acceleration graph configuration thats not correct but my question is why does it traverse smoothly when homing ? OK I know tha answer to that ! Its because the homing velocity acceleration etc is different but now for the real question. Which setting is for homing and which is for cursor keys and why are they different and where do i find them ? or is it simply controlled using the feedrate ? By the way what does FRO stand for ? Im guessing Feed Rate Override ? Im trying to learn the software without having access to a machine so i cant tinker !
Your homing speed is probably set to less than 100%, that's why the machine homes fine but loses steps during jogging. See "Config - Homing/Limits - Speed".
