Mach3 / Config / Slave Axis
set all axes to 'None', restart mach.

Hello.
I have a MKX-4 card. the 4th axis works only as slave. At any other options an axis of 4 stop.

Problem that axis A doesn't work. Axis A works only in the slave mode together with other axis. It is necessary to me that axis A worked separately from other axes.
Is your copy of Mach3 licenced?

The demo, is a difference?
Without a license, Mach3 will operate in Demo mode. While in Demo mode, the software has the following limitations:
Mill & Plasma: 500 line gcode limit (10,000,000 limit after licensing)
Turn: 50 line gcode limit (10,000,000 limit after licensing)
Kernel Frequency locked at 25kHz (only applicable if using the parallel port driver)
Set Next Line function disabled
Run From Here function disabled
Turn: Threading disabled
Plasma: THC functions disabled
Licence: it would help to know that.
Anyhow, have you done the following yet?
Mach3 / Config / Slave Axis
set all axes to 'None', restart Mach.

I wanted to adjust at first the router, and then for work to buy the license. If the router doesn't work, the license isn't necessary to me
I understand about the licence, but have you done the following yet?????
Mach3 / Config / Slave Axis
set all axes to 'None', restart Mach.

Yes I tried this way. Axis A moves only in the slave mode together with other axis. At the disconnected slave axis A doesn't move.
OK: that is vital information, needed to go any further.
Now, when the A axis is slaved to (say) the X axis, the X axis pulses are also sent to the A driver. The fact that the A axis responds to X movements suggests that the Step/Dir pin definitions for the A axis are OK.
When the A axis is not slaved to the X axis, then Mach generates pulses from the A values in the g-code, and should be sending them to the same pins.
Can you give a little (short - 10 lines?) example of the sort of code which should be driving the A axis?

G0 A10 or G1 A5 or ....
Directly axis A doesn't work in any way. Also G codes and directly from the keypad of A+ and A- are ignored.
I think a problem in the Chinese MKX-VI controller. The vendor is silent therefore I look for the help here.
Mach3 / Config / Motor Tuning / A axis
Can you take a screen shot of what this shows?
Yes, I know, lots of strange questions. But I am on the opposite side of the world from you, and I have no idea what your system looks like.
Oh - and what sort of drive does the A axis have? Stepper? Gearing?
Cheers

I will photograph everything and I will lay out later, it will take time, thanks for concern.
Once again thanks for concern. I understood. A problem in the MKX-VI controller hardware. This controller at the same time can work only with 3 axes from 6. Axes A, B and C work only in the slave mode along with the main axes. Chinese - that from them to take
Thanks, I think I have the same problem. Thanks for your help.
