Yes, Home slave with Master is what you want.
I'd move to a newer version of Mach3, as yours is really, really old.
Do you have Config > Logic and Config > State?
okay, so I have been researching this for a while and it seems to be a common problem, but I don't see the option that everyone says will fix it in my version of Mach3.
My problem is that when I hit RefAllHome, the Y axis moves but the A Axis doesn't move at all. I have two motors for my Y axis (Y and A), I have the A motor set up as a slave to Y in Mach and it jogs fine. I added limit/homing switches (same switch is expected to do both in my case) to the Y and X axis. I havent yet installed the Z switch and I dont intend to install one on the A (or what ever you call the other side of the Y). All switches are using the same input. There are 4 total, one on each end of the x and one on each end of the Y. The system is simple with a Gecko 540 running Nema23s.
I have seen many posts that say go to the general tab and choose the check box, "Home slave with master axis". This makes sense, but I dont have that option in my version of Mach3. in my "general" tab the debounce is on the left hand side of the screen where as most posts that show this option seem to have it on the top right. And I dont have the option I need. Did it move? Is there another way of doing this?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Then it's possible that the version you're using doesn't support slaved homing with one switch., I don't recall, as that version is probably 12+ years old?
