Just go to ports and pins > motor outputs, and disable the Y, enable the A, and use the y axis port and pin #'s
Hello
i just finnished instlling my new x slave motor but i still done't have my 4 axis board. I was wondering if I can assign the y axis to the a axis inorder to slave the motors for test in mach 3 i tried reasigning the values from y to a but could get no movement

Thank you for your response. I was able to get the axis reasigned to a but when i shut mach down and restart it a will not work unless i disable a, enable y, then disable y and enable a. i got
it to run in slave mode and ran well but cant figure out why it wont keep the settings.

Make sure that the .xml file is not read only.
Do you have a licensed version in your name?
