Just submit it to support. I had the same problem. I sent them the key, they confirmed it was jacked up and sent it back to me fixed.
(background: I've been dealing with email since UUCP but am new to Mach3.)
I received my license files via email, two .dat files that I put in my c:\Mach3 directory. I then rebooted and launched Mach3, yet it's still in demo mode.
Opening up the files they are as I expected -- a lot of 8-bit characters. However, I'm not sure if it's corruption or this is just the binary license file format used by Mach3.
Is there a way for me to determine if Mach3 is loading the license and failing because the files are corrupt?
I've asked the reseller to put the .dat files in a .zip archive and send me that so that we can rule out file corruption.
E.T.A.: I guess this could be read as an attempt to help me pirate a license key, which I am not trying to do. I received license files from IHCNC as part of my CNC upgrade kit and I'm trying to figure out where/how/if they are getting corrupted when they were emailed.

There should be only 1 file, Mach1Lic.dat.
email license@machsupport.com and they'll take care of you.

1) I have WizLic.dat and Mach1Lic.dat -- could both of them being in the directory break things?
2) I bought these from a legit reseller, so Artsoft is pointing me there for support.
Still no joy. IHCNC thinks they emailed me valid files, I've responded with offers to send a floppy or thumb disc to get a physical copy of the license.
Any cleanup/fix suggestions while I wait on IHCNC?
Did you contact Artsoft at the address I posted before?

license@machsupport? Yes, I contacted them soon after you posted and was told that
1) the files were corrupt
2) they couldn't find my contact info in their database, so contact the reseller.
I did 2) and haven't heard anything other than that the files I was sent should work.
Make sure you have IH give your license info to Artsoft, which they are supposed to do. Had they done that, then Artsoft would have sent you a new license right away.

Interesting -- IH told me they have a stack of licenses that they hand out given to them by Artsoft. I wondering if the "send a copy to Artsoft" step got lost on their end.
Licenses are not transferable, so for it to be legal, it needs to have your name in it, which means they need to go through Artsoft.
