I am little puzzled and have some questions.
I am building CNC machine. My mechanic is nearly finished. My electronic is just begun. I am testing an external emergency stop to check the response of motor.Normally,When I press emergency stop immediately,motor don't rotate and the Readout in Mach should also stop immediately as well. I have some problem.When I press emergency stop immediately,motor don't rotate but the Readout in Mach still run usually.What happen on Mach screen? How to adjust what is on Mach screen?
I choose pin 15 for emegency stop and connect it on NC type.
If I hit Stop, my machine automatically goes up to safe Z height and kills the spindle. I have it setup this way.
If I hit Reset, everything stops and no more movement from anything.
Not sure what the issue could be for you. What version are you using?

It may have something to do with the debounce setting on the upper right hand of the General config screen. Wait a minute! That is an older version and it may not be there.
A newer version may help. Hopefully others can help nail down some specifics.
Yes Mongkol the driver board (which runs the X Y Z motors) and the spindle relay (if you have one) should come to a screeching hault. But sometimes the MACH3 counters will still be moving which doesn't matter because the machine is stopped. Pressing ESC will stop these counters if they still annoy you. You have to reset the machine and the MACH 3 anyway. I believe the E-STOP is interfaced through the mach3 config screen.
What happen on Mach screen?
