Default HAVING PROBLEMS WITH STEPPER MOTOR MOVEMENT

We bought a "used" setup, the guy bought it and set it up in his shop but never used it. It's a setup from CandCNC; a 4x8 table and a Windows PC with Bladerunner controller and running Mach 3 software. The problem so far is that when the system is powered on, the Bladerunner is powered on and the motors lock in place, however when you start the Mach 3 software and click "RESET" the motors begin to sporadically jog without being prompted or without any buttons being pressed. We have uninstalled and reinstalled software multiple times and followed the directions to the letter, but the problem still persists. Any help that anyone can give would be greatly appreciated!

    Ryan,

You could have a bad program chip. It is possible that while the program is good before you reinstall, the chips on your board could have gone bad which will corrupt the program despite it being "new". We fix board level components all the time here and we're more than happy to take a look at it in our facility for you. Our evaluations are free so it wouldn't cost you a thing. Just give us a call at 855-437-3497 or email me at tyler@iesrepairs.net. Just let me know.

We fix it all! Give us a call at 855-437-3497.
