What happens? Do the axis labels turn green to show them homed? Or do you get a limit switch error? But they won't retract off the switch.
I have done both upgrades to the machine, as well as changed PC's. But I kept my profile, so I am not sure why this isn't working, as it used to before the changes:
When I home, the axis moves in the correct direction until the limit switch is activated. But they won't retract off the switch. Here are my screen shots:
Can someone please tell me what I've done wrong.
Thanks
Ray

Gerry,
I am actually using your 2010 screen, so I don't know. I am using these switches
Hall Effect Sensor Module from nicegear - New Zealand's open source and VoIP hardware specialist
They have a LED on board so I know they are working.
I get a limit switch error in Mach. It won't back off the switch, and I can't cancel it with a reset. So I can't back it off manually either.
Any help would really be appreciated.
Thanks
Ray
Try setting a debounce of around 5000, and see if it helps. If it does, then you're getting noise on the switch lines, or your switches are triggering again as they are backing off the switch.

Thanks Gerry, I will try that tonight.
