i suppose i could answer this myself, and i will by the time ive finished. i cut three 22mm dia holes with my ultra sexy new cncfusion 3 axis kit ![]() bearing fit holes.... well they arent round! very close but the bearing only fitted into the first two that i cut at a very low feed.... im assssssuming its due to the lovejoy couplings having a poofteenth of play in them... so im also asssssuming that those helical aluminium ones would be the G.O.???? otherwise.... no problems except for the lack of workshop |

| My HUMBLEST apologies, my good Sir. I am afraid I made the assumption that my SIEG X2 with a 3-axis cnckit and stepper motors would meet the requirements of this highly exclusive line of products termed "LittleMachineShop CNC Machines". It appears I have made a terrible mistake, for which I must make amends. I am terribly sorry to have caused any type of inconvenience or distraction. Thankyou |

| Did you buy your machine from Little Machine Shop? Is it one of these?: LittleMachineShop.com - CNC Machines: CNC Milling Machines Had you gone just a wee bit further down the list of available forums here, rather than just blindly posting in this forum, you might have found this forum: Benchtop Machines - CNCzone.com-The Largest Machinist Community on the net! Which, if you look at the forum description (which you obviously didn't do here): "Benchtop Machines Discuss all mini mills sherline, taig, square column, round column and CNC mill conversions here!" Pretty much covers your machine and what you are asking about. That's why there are so many different forums on this site. It's tailored to many different kinds of machines, most of which have their own forum. Take a little time, familiarize yourself with the Zone, and post your questions and such in the appropriate forum. Mark |
