Hi All
Just some quick back round info, i have been cnc programming (punch and bending equipment Salvagnini S4, P4's &Tc120) for nearly 15 years, had a break from it for 6 years due to company restructuring, however i have now come back into contact with my old tc120, but alas i have forgotten some simple actions and would hope some one can refresh my mind.
My issue is, whilst cutting a punched part out of a full sheet( part 2318 x702mm, sheet 2500 x 1250mm) using the nesting software, i am getting the sheet catching in the punch, in truth i t looks like the sheet is being rucked up in front of the presser plate in the direction of travel.
I have no nc code manual to experiment with different M code specifiers, it seems to me as if the tool rail / clamps are advancing fractionally before the punch is fully clear of the sheet.
Can some one give me some advice on this issue as its driving me nuts let alone my boss who is in tears at the amount of 0.7mm 304 s/steel i'm getting half way through and then chewing up...
Regards
Pat...
