| I recently came into possession of a 6-axis game controller, specifically the old SpaceOrb 360. Thanks to the excellent LinuxCNC wiki, I have it set up as a jog control on my 3-axis machine (with a button to activate it for safety). However, this means the rotational axes are going to waste. What I'd like to do is set it up so that when you don't have the jog button pressed, the translation axes control panning in the view window, and the rotational axes control the tilt of the view. Is there a HAL input for view pan/tilt, and what is it called? I spent a lot of time googling and poking through the drivers last night and couldn't find it. |
