in my last thread i asked for the step timings for the gecko 540 using EMC it turned out i was using and old copy of emc. I have since re-installed EMC2.3 which fixed and improved the speed but now have yet another dilema. i can no longer disable the system maintainance interupt (smi) that i rely on for good latency. given that i run a 2.8ghz pentium 4 hyper threading processor do you know if a celeron cpu, that fits the 775 socket, will have hyper threading and will a new processor fix my problem. i have just tried an old gpu to see if it was intergrated graffics that caused my problem and it had little effect any experience on this issue will be welcome |
