I have my machine up and running, but one little thing is standing in the way of moving forward forward on a test cut. When I home the X and Z axes, I have no problems. But when I home the Y access, I run into an issue. My Y axis is bipolar, so I have a Y1 and Y2. Both steppers work perfectly, bringing the unit back to home, and stopping. However, EMC2 keeps moving the "virtual" cutter and reporting "movement." So my X and Z axes will stop, change to 0.000, and show the home symbol. But the Y axis just keeps going, -8.0, -15.0, -20.0, I don't think it will ever stop. So...is the any way for my to monitor the pin for my Y home and see if the hardware is not triggering it? |
