    EMC2 & PCL832?

    Hi,
I've got PC and on it PCL832 ISA based card, If any one could help me how to configure it? PCL832 works before with Dos base system.
Do I need another card? How to start?

    Regards
    Adam

EMC does not support the PCL832, it may be possible to write a driver, but it looks like the PCL832 is a "smart" motion controller and EMC really wants to be in direct control of motion, so a "dumb" interface is more appropriate.

Also, its probable that your motherboard with ISA slot will be too slow to run EMC or any more modern control software. You can get new motherboards with ISA slots (up to Core Duos!) but these will likely cost more than a new interface card.
