Newbie- EMC + Sherline 5400 + K179 controllers + step syn & astrosyn motors

Aloha ya'll - working to get this assemblage running

As stated we've got a
Sherline 5400
3 k179 stepper controllers
z-axis ='s step syn motor (p/n 2462561) rated at 2 degrees per step 1.4 Amps, 4.5 Volts
x,y axis ='s astrosyn miniangle stepper (type 231 mc705) 1.8 degrees per step 2.4 Amps, 3 Volts

and we'd like to see this machine work with EMC. As a total novice in this realm we need some help getting the .ini and .HAL files prepared (I think that's what is needed - again, total novice here)

Ran the configuration wizard & see a list of variables - listed here as at the end of the day hope to fill in the blanks for any future novices - could someone please lend a hand? Thank you in advancee
