| What version/release of emc2? If unsure launch from a terminal by typing "emc". edit/ Try "which stepconf" in a terminal. If it returns (for example) "usr/bin/stepconf", launch be typing exactly that in the terminal. If "which stepconf" simply returns to the prompt you are running a pre-stepconf version of emc2 most likely.
