EMC2 to BobCampbell board setup ?

Hi Im in the process of giving emc2 a try. I had my system working with
mach3,geckos and bob campbell board.
have installed ubuntu and emc2 and all lokks ok at this point but
need some guidance at this point. have gone through the emc manual and
getting lost. where do i start to get things dialed in and testing.

I think the easiest for you would be to run the stepconf. Make sure your running 2.2.2 and you can run if from the emc menu - or type it in from a terminal window. This will allow you to set pins and scales for stepping machines.

Thanks samco I had looked around the software and noticed that
screen. I tracked down my original info and was going to give that
a shot and go from there.

Does EMC2 have a charge pump signal? If not, there is a jumper on the BOB that needs to be moved.

Good ? MrWild I got your post before i got to setup emc2 and you may be right, I have to finish but started step config and did find pin configs for charge pump. messed around with setup for a while without any movemant and from what i could tell by the bob manual is that the charge pump jumper is only contolling the 4 optional outs. coolant spindle relays etc. but decided to change jumper and got movemant, may have changed my pin settings also for home limit. i'll test my settings to see if its the limit/home changes or the pump jumper change later and let everyone know.
